Voices for Prayer: Praying for the Gabbra people

In a recent survey, so many of you asked us to provide you with ways to pray. That's why we've created this monthly newsletter that will focus only on prayer requests.
To that end, we're highlighting one of the people groups we will be working with and sharing some special prayer needs.
PEOPLE GROUP OF THE MONTH
The Gabbra tribe is made up of about 117,000 people. They reside in the northernmost part of Kenya along the Ethiopian border and near Somalia. Less than 2% of the Gabbra believe in Jesus. Their primary religion is a folk version of Islam. This is a part of Kenya that may not always be open to in-person outreach.
We will begin the Gabbra video Bible story project in July. Please begin to pray for that production trip.
PLEASE PRAY
Pray that God will open the eyes, ears, and hearts of the Gabbra people to understand His Word.
Pray for our mission partners at Africa Inland Mission (AIM). This is our first partnership with AIM. We are praying that it could lead to many others across the continent.
Pray for the OneMessage.tv team as we finish planning for our trip in July.
Pray for our team's health, travel, and safety.
Pray for the Gabbra people who will be the actors in the videos.
Pray that if they are believers, that they would be encouraged in their faith by participating in this project.
And if they are not believers, that participating might plant seeds that would ultimately draw them to Jesus.
OTHER PRAYER NEEDS
Pray for OneMessage.tv as we look for new people to join our team to help with the growing demand for video Bible story projects around the world.
Pray for our upcoming fundraising event at Topgolf. It will be on May 20th. Please pray for sponsors and new golfers to participate in the event. The funds raised at this event will be vital for funding upcoming projects this year.
We recently had an amazing meeting with a potential new mission partner regarding possible projects in Zimbabwe and Nepal. Things seem to be moving ahead quickly. Please pray that God will give us wisdom as we continue to discuss these projects and that He will provide the necessary funds at the right time.
