Our OneMessage.tv partners are the best! We put out a call for funds to provide video projectors and tablets for missionaries and pastors to share our video Bible story libraries. In just a few days, you exceeded our $5,000 goal!

Your generosity will allow us to spread the video Bible stories to some of the most remote corners of northern Kenya and beyond. Now pastors and missionaries, most of whom travel by motorbike or bus, can carry a tablet to share God’s Word in small groups and Bible studies. Other ministries will use the projectors to show video Bible stories to groups as large as 200 or 300.

The Fruit of Your Investment

We love to share Warren Buffet’s quote, “Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone else planted a tree a long time ago.”

Follow this timeline.

The Samburu video Bible story library is the first one we produced in Kenya back in 2022 and 2023. Kenyan missionary, Thomas Lolmakar, discovered these videos last year.

He immediately began making the videos a part of his personal ministry, as well as including them in the trainings that he did with church planters and church leaders.

One year ago, Thomas began a storytelling group under a tree in the village of Naibelibeli. At the time he told us, “Praise God. They are receiving the videos in a good way because they are in a remote area, and do not read or write.”

A year later, that listening group is now a church. Two weeks ago, Thomas shared that the church had baptized new believers.

He said, “After doing storytelling at Naibelibeli Church, people understand what baptism is. We baptized 9 people. They are the fruit of OneMessage.tv.”

In this part of Kenya, they have to wait for rain to have enough water to do baptisms.

You can see in the photo above that the water they have doesn't even cover their feet.

They baptize in puddles found in low spots between some rocks (left).

Thomas added, “We will be baptizing more people at the new Pokot church in Luoniek. I still need to wait for it to rain there before we can do the baptisms.”
