We are shifting gears here at oneMESSAGE.tv. Most of our time this year has been spent planning and fundraising for Phase One, the field production portion of our pilot Bible Storying Video Project. We had an exciting 3 weeks in Colombia, and if you want to read more about that, you can go here and here.
Now we are moving to Phase Two, the post-production phase. That means editing everything that we were able to capture on camera, collecting the translations of our indigenous group, and putting it together so that our missionary partners can share it in person and by sending mini-SD cards that our indigenous can watch on their phones.
We are pretty excited about where we are at with our fundraising thus far. Everyday Christians who want to be a part of giving the Word of God to unreached people groups in a way they can understand, have stepped up and donated nearly $10,000. That’s more than 60% of our goal of $15,433 which will pay for a library of 12 videos spanning from the Creation to the resurrection of Jesus. There are 40 unique donors who have given anywhere from $5 to more than $1000.
An exciting milestone for oneMESSAGE.tv is that we received a grant of $3000 from the Taylor Family Foundation. It’s our first foundation grant which often times takes a ministry much longer to receive. We are so grateful to the Taylor Family Foundation for their support in the cause of reaching the more than 3200 unreached people groups around the world.
As we transition to Phase Two, we asking those who have supported this mission to consider committing to give on a monthly basis in amounts of $100, $50 or even $25. We are also asking our current donors to serve as ambassadors for oneMESSAGE.tv, and to share our mission with other believers who you think might be interested in the calling to reach the unreached.
