Fewer Than 2% of Kenya’s Deaf Know Jesus—You Can Change That

In just a few days, our production team will be returning to Mombasa, Kenya to finish recording the Swahili video Bible story library.
But this trip is special because, in addition to finishing the production of those 10 stories, we will also record all 20 narrations for a library in the Giriama language, AND capture Kenya Sign Language video for all 20 stories.
New Unreached People Group
The deaf represent another large unreached people group. In many countries like Kenya, that is NOT because they are unreceptive to the gospel, but because they have very little access to the gospel.
Kenya is home to almost a quarter of a million deaf people, but fewer than 2% are believers.
Pastors are rarely trained to use sign language, few churches use sign language, and often there is no Scripture translated into the hearing-impaired’s visual language. So even where churches exist, the Deaf are usually left out.
That’s why we are so excited about this new library. We will use the actors from the Swahili language videos, and add in a visual interpretation in KSL (Kenyan Sign Language).

Seeds for Tomorrow
On Tuesday Oct 14, 2025 We will host a special dinner to share the mission and financial goals of OneMessage.tv. The theme of the dinner is “Seeds for Tomorrow.”The idea is that once our OneMessage.tv community creates a video Bible story library for oral learners, those videos will continue to grow and spread for years to come.The dinner will be held in Cumming, GA.
If you are in the area and can attend, the cost of dinner is free, but you must reserve your spot.
