Just a few weeks ago, we launched the 72 for the Harvest campaign. We looked at the passage in Luke chapter 10 when Jesus sent out 72 followers ahead of him. In Jesus’ instructions to these disciples, he gave them this charge:
So we began to pray for God to send 72 new partners to OneMessage.tv.
If we had 72 new people who would be willing to make a monthly commitment of at least $35, it would allow us to increase from two trips to record video Bible stories to three trips a year.
That might not seem like a big deal, but here’s what it means...
It means being able to reach a brand new people group who we would not otherwise be able to reach. There are a number of areas where we have freedom to reach people groups now but that might not always be the case. If we want to reach every oral learner in our lifetime, we need to feel the sense of urgency. That is what the call for 72 is all about.
Well, you all have responded in amazing ways. We have already exceeded the halfway point in our goal of 72!
And for that we just want to say how grateful we are. Especially during this time of Thanksgiving, we want to express our appreciation for your part and what God has done.
