We just completed our second round of recording video Bible stories with the Turkana people. We have been to Kenya 5 times over the past couple of years, but we had a unique, first-time experience on this trip.
While we were there, we had an opportunity to see a set of the OneMessage.tv videos being shown at a movie night in the village of Lolupe. It was amazing! In the middle of the dark with no lights for miles, our mission partners set up a video screen and a speaker and more than 100 people appeared out of the dark to watch.
They showed two Bible stories; the Creation Story and the Call of Abraham. Afterwards, Moses Lorukudi with SERV International stood up and preached a short sermon about following God when He calls. We were packing up and headed for our guest house. But nobody else moved. They asked, “Can we watch it again?”
Moses says it’s a common request at every movie night. He says that’s the reason the Bible story videos are great not just for evangelism, but also for discipleship.

It's hard to imagine the logistics of this trip going any more smoothly; our health and travel came off without a hitch. None of this is possible without your prayers and gifts!
