Compensation

OneMessage.tv is a faith-based missionary organization. As part of this model, every full-time team member is responsible for building a personal team of ministry partners who commit to pray for and financially support their ministry. This process, commonly known as “raising support,” is widely practiced by mission organizations.

The practice of raising support has biblical roots in both the Old and New Testaments. For example, the believers in Philippi partnered with the Apostle Paul through prayer and financial generosity as he carried out his ministry (Philippians 1:3–5; 4:10–19).

We believe that having each staff member develop a personal ministry-partner team enables OneMessage.tv to expand the missionary workforce needed to help fulfill the Great Commission.

Each staff member raises support to provide for:

  • Salary: Personal and household living expenses

  • Benefits: Health insurance, disability coverage, life insurance, retirement savings, and related benefits

OneMessage.tv covers all approved ministry-related business and travel expenses separately.

Staff members are therefore not expected to raise support for those costs.

After an applicant is accepted as a OneMessage.tv staff member, we will provide support in several practical ways:

  • Training and resources to prepare them to raise support effectively

  • Ongoing assistance with communicating regularly with their ministry-partner team

  • Processing of donations and support payments received from ministry partners
